The Dare to Grow Programme
To overcome the barriers currently associated with the development of local renewable energy projects Sligo Leader Partnership Co., FLAG and Arigna Leader have come together to develop the Dare to Grow Programme. Funded by the LEADER Programme “Dare to Grow” has primarily been designed to provide grants, information and training services to businesses interested in installing renewable technologies within the areas of Fermanagh, Leitrim/N.Roscommon & Sligo.
The Renewable Energy Conference and Trades Fair
The 6th April 2006 will see the
first cross border developed renewables trade fair. Expert Speakers and
Service providers will be available throughout the day and everyone is
welcome.
The Renewable Energy Grant Scheme
A 50% grant is available to local
businesses interested in installing renewable technologies but who have
been unable to source the full capital costs of their project
The Biomass Installation Training Programme
Training courses have been developed
to provide local trades people with the opportunity to become proficient
in the installation of Biomass Systems
Business Energy Audits
A free service is being provided
offering businesses in the area a specific Energy Audit to be carried
out on their premises detailing the cost saving measures which they could
implement.
